Co Host

Claire is a yoga teacher that genuinely cares about your well being and loves to show new ways to experience yoga for those that perhaps are more used to a gym based approach to fitness. She is funny and brings new ways to experience the day with her love of nature. You can feel comfortable with her as she is down to earth too. Thank you for a lovely class.

I offer consultations for individuals, workplaces, corporate clients, and secondary schools looking to integrate yoga and nature into their environments. You can book a free 30-minute call where we will discuss your needs and create a tailored package to meet your requirements.

For workplaces and corporate clients, we focus on developing programs that enhance employee well-being and productivity through yoga and nature-based practices. For schools, the consultation includes an online discussion and scheduling an on-site visit to assess the grounds and their potential for use as a green wellness space.

Yoga

I teach Hatha and Vinyasa yoga with a heart-centered approach. My classes focus on self-study, self-care, and self-love, connecting you with yourself and the changing seasons. As a highly sensitive person, I specialise in helping those with busy minds discover the power of self-care through yoga and beyond, addressing their entire well-being.

Yoga with me is more than just physical movements. Yoga helps calm a busy mind. I tailor my classes according to attendees. I pride myself in being accessible teaching gentle classes for beginner yoga clients. I am also able to teach more advanced energetic classes with background in gymnastics instructing.

I teach public classes, outdoor yoga at camping sites, corporate classes and run sessions secondary schools.

Foraging

Nature Identification

I run beginner-friendly foraging walks, and I take pride in building your confidence and breaking down the barriers that often come with taking the first steps into foraging. The secret to starting with foraging isn't just about the harvest; it's about connecting with nature, gradually getting to know plants, and gaining respect for them.

It's essential to learn about both edible and poisonous plants, and I love to help people start simply by picking beginner-friendly plants like nettle, dandelion, and cleavers. My goal is to make foraging accessible and enjoyable, guiding you to slow down, observe, and appreciate the natural world around you.

Forest Bathing

Shin rin yoku

Forest bathing, also known as forest therapy, involves immersing yourself in a natural woodland environment, taking in the sights, sounds, and scents of the forest. This practice has numerous benefits, particularly related to stress reduction and boosting immune function. Studies have shown that forest bathing can lower levels of cortisol (a stress hormone), activate the parasympathetic nervous system (reducing fight-or-flight responses), and increase the activity of natural killer (NK) cells, which play a role in cancer prevention.

My Forest Bathing Services

I offer forest bathing sessions at two beautiful sites and can also scout new locations to suit your needs, whether you're a corporate client or an individual seeking a local space for an additional fee. I provide private 1:1 sessions, as well as group bookings for private and public events.

Forest therapy is about slowing down in nature, zoning in on the details of the natural world, and soaking up the beneficial phytoncides and essential oils released by trees. Being in the woods helps us feel grounded and safe, evoking a sense of home through our innate biophilia—our natural affinity for nature. Join me to experience the healing power of the forest.
